Game Informer Canada App Reviews

I have yet to be able to read my first issue on this iPad app. I opened the app once, selected a few issues for download and it has been crashing ever since, just after loading the splashscreen.

I cant read anything. It keeps redownloading and crashing. Fix please. Gamers hook up with me, Yasherif @utube.

Cant download my magazines because it crashes all the time.

This app needs to be fixed. Download multiple issues crashes. Downloading one issue crashes. I would like to catch up on the back issues if it wouldnt crash. Wouldnt recommend anyone download this magazine app until they fix the issue.

The US app works great, why does Canada need its own (crappy) version? Half of the interactive elements dont work... Meaning you miss out on a large portion of the issue.

Constant crash. Re installed it, sent them email asking for help, yelled at it, threatened it with violence........wont download a single issue before crashing.

Crashes EVERY time i try to read something. This is bad.

Cant download an issue without the app crashing, whether Im waiting for it to download or reading as it downloads. I dont expect much from EB Games, and this "app" just further proved its an incompetent company unable to develop the most basic of apps.

Having a digital a subscription and no platform to read the magazine is pointless. When this app be fixed or updated in order to stop the crashes? Not worth the bandwidth; will use it when I hear its fixed.

Crashes all the time. Dont waste your time downloading until it is updated.

This app blows. You want an example of how not to design an app? This is it. The application crashes more than Facebook and Instagram put together. It crashes so frequently that its near impossible to download an issue to read. Hey GameStop, since youve obviously decided to exclude Game Informer from helping you develop an app for Canadian subscribers, why no invest some money in a good developers who can actually provide readers with an app that works...

do not download period dont spend the money on an app the crashes and refuses to download any issues - they need to fix this - but Im sure they dont care

Videos overlap text, and text overlaps other text on scrollable articles. This is really frustrating and needs to be fixed.

After downloading and installing based on an email from Eb games, I discovered these are digital publications for purchase. No samples, no previews, just publications full of ads that you must buy. Apple used to have some control on the garbage being slung on their App Store, which is what made them stand out from every other app market, in my honest opinion. This should maybe be categorized under Magazines, for subscription, with an option for individual purchase? Aside from that, every other reviewer claims the app doesnt work correctly. One way or another, Apple needs to filter this garbage!

A must have for all gamers!!

The content that this magazine is superb, with some of the best journalists at helm producing both written and video content regarding the newest video games. While the magazine as a whole focuses more on consoles (and only the big stuff on PC), its still always a great read about new games, interviews, previews and reviews. Im a big fan of Game Informer, both the magazine and website, but this App is simply terrible. Im using this app on my iPad Air 2 and it constantly crashes after 1-2 minute of usage. To open it again Ill have to go through all the loading screens again, which is ~30 second each time. Its simply impractical to use. I recommend using the website version instead. All the login information is the same and you get access the digital magazine on your computer. Best buy the magazine subscription in an EB Games store and SKIP doing online purchases via this app. At this point, the app is simply unusable and should be avoided until they fix it.
